Penelope at five foot seven inches and has an average weight for someone of her height. She has longish fierily red hair that has a naturally wavy quality about it, and that she normally just lets i sit to do whatever it wants. She has an altogether average build. She's not in the best shape physically, but she is better than a lot of other people that she has come across, especially the people she works for. She skin is a creamy peach color, and she has light green eyes.

Penelope has a somewhat conservative dressing type. She isn't one to dress in very showy outfits or any outfits that might cause a stir, like Gothic or Emo type outfits. She prefers clothing that look neat, crisp and formal, and no matter what she likes to look her best. She doesn't always like to wear make up though she will on occasion.

Personality:

Penelope is a person who likes to keep to herself. She has little interests for cliques or being surrounding by people all the time, and in stead prefers a handful of good friends. She has a few people that she is extremely close to and will do anything for and who she can put up with at almost any time. However, despite her preference to be almost nonsocial, she is one who is kind to most people. She aims to have a sort of friendship with everyone, even if she doesn't particularly like the person for two reasons. One, she doesn't want to drum up any drama or start a fight between anybody that could make life any more unpleasant as it already is, and two, she hopes that someday if she needs help on something, she'll be able to get it from one of the people that she's been for the most part sweet to her entire life. She can be described as manipulative or cold in this way, she she isn't one to deny that charge. In some ways she is.

Penelope is also very intelligent, and with the exception of Spanish and P.E, she can get an A or B in her classes with little trouble. Any classes she can't do well in she automatically hates with a burning passion, and has a sort of obsession over them as she tries to get better at them, though she doesn't always secede.

Family is incredible important to Penelope, and any form of disrespect towards them will result in a rude, snappish comeback. She is incredibly protective over her sister Mandy. She isn't one to date much, though whoever she does date it is always in the hope of having a long lasting relationship. She's very loyal to her friends, family, and boyfriends and expect them to be the same.

Penelope is one who likes to help others, and if you're kind enough, she rarely ever says no. She's often babying her friends and helping them with their problems. She's often the type to go way out of her way to help them.Penelope is also big on respect. She gives people the proper respect they deserve, and expect the same respect back. Her patience isn't as long as she would hope it to be, but it's something that she's working on. She also has a fiery temper if you tick her off enough.

Penelope is a very level headed person, and despite her love of the paranormal, is a huge skeptic of it. She thinks that everything has a logical explanation to it, even if it's not immediately apparent. To truly be made to believe in something paranormal related she must be shown opposite proof, and even then she's still a little disbelieving of it. She likes to analyze things and question them and see if she can find flaws in even the facts.

History:

Penelope was the second child born to Helen and Andrew Kern, and was their first daughter. Three years prior they had given birth to her brother Johnathon. Two years after Penelope was born, hr mother gave birth to her younger sister Amanda. Their parents were Borzoi breeders and owners, and all of the Kern children received their names in the same way. They all received their first names from a friend or someone who meant a lot to the parents, and their last name came from one of the family's former dogs, oddly enough. As a child Penelope found this to be hilarious, though as she grew older there become a sort of shame in it.

Penelope's early years were mostly uneventful. She was born and raised in happy area, and she started school at a normal age and when she was in elementary school she started to use her middle name in place of her first name since there was another Penelope in her class, and she wanted to be unique. Her mother never liked this, though she couldn't change her headstrong daughter's mind.

Even in elementary school, Penelope had been kind to most people without ever really forming any true friendships. The same continued even into middle school until late eight grade where she made a few true friends. Making those friends when she did turned out to be a life saver for the next year she was starting high school and she would need them.

High school was a difficult change for Penelope though it was nothing that she couldn't deal with know that she had her friends (and of coarse an upperclassman brother who was overly protective of her). It was in high school that she first went to visit her grandmother in a city. Her grandfather had just died, and her mother was worried about how she was doing. Penelope fell in love with the city, and she was already hoping to come back as she was leaving. She then set her sights on attending a collage in Los Anglos for two reasons. One, she wanted to be close to the city that she loved, and two, she wanted to be there for her grandmother is she ever needed help.

The rest of high school went fairly easily for Penelope and the Fall after she graduated from high school, she was enrolled in a collage near her grandmother, which she was thrilled about. She majored in psychology and minored in creative writing. Collage was a different experience, a lot harder than high school but for the most part uneventful. Her grandmother's death during her junior year did bring some unwanted drama into her life at that time. She had to fly back to her hometown to bury her grandmother. Because of her grandmother's grave being there she tries to get back there every once in a while to pay respect, but she never can seem to have enough money to visit as often as she would like.

Penelope did poorly that semester in collage, though the rest of her time in school she did well. When she finally gradated shortly afterwords, she was happy. She started to search for a job that she could use her psychology degree with. Unfortunately, she couldn't find any jobs due to poor luck or inadequate searching and instead applied for a job at a business as a sort of assistant to the workers, and that has been her job ever since.
